Collaboration, community and communication are the driving forces behind all successful innovators.

With these ideas as foundation, our vision for Florentia is to create one of London’s biggest creative maker hubs – a community resource where independent manufacturing and design businesses are set to thrive.

Originally established in the 1970s as the central hub for garment manufacturers in the fashion industry, Florentia has progressively expanded into the wider creative spheres of food, consumer products, film, theatre, music, design and photography, and it is now home to an eclectic mix of over 40 businesses. All makers, innovators and creators.

Totalling 3.5 acres of mixed-use space, the North London site comprises 90,000 sq ft. of existing warehousing and factory spaces, alongside 41 loft apartments and 1.5 acres of land ripe for reinvention.

Working with award winning architects Turner.Works, our vision is to redefine and reinvigorate this characterful site through careful refurbishment and the addition of 100,000 sq ft. of new, purpose-built, best-in-class maker facilities – doubling the size of the campus, and bringing together a community of over 150 like-minded creatives to Haringey.

Operated by our services division General People, we will set a programme of meaningful benefits in place for new and existing occupiers, as well as our neighbours – providing them with all the support and resources they need in every step of their business journey.

Florentia will establish a new benchmark for modern, design-led, creator spaces in London.
