Originally built in the 1800s, Stratford Workshops was a printing press for the Great Eastern Railway and most of the GERs printing requirements including posters, tickets and timetables were handled here
When the works were closed in the 60s, the building was converted into East London’s very first hub for start-ups and SMEs
Fast forward to today, it is now home to a radical assembly of creatives working in anything from fashion design to manufacturing, jewellery making to music production
Now, we are working to deliver an exciting new hub for East London’s makers and innovators
With such an eclectic and fascinating mix of occupiers, our ambition for Stratford Workshops is to enhance and secure its future through reinvention and restoration
Inspired by its past, but wholly designed for its future, we will celebrate its community and its character, while delivering a new lease of life to the building through enhanced communal areas, new co-working spaces and an inspiring new hotel-style reception
Offering affordable, fit for purpose and beautifully designed spaces, Stratford Workshops is set to become East London’s new creative powerhouse
